Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty’s Montclair Regional Office hosts public Art Show

Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, one of New Jersey’s leading luxury real estate brokerages, is delighted to announce it is hosting a public art exhibition at the firm’s Montclair regional office located at 32 Valley Road, on Thursday, February 2nd 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

The show is the first in a series of three art exhibitions.   Titled ‘Points of View – Home,’ the exhibition features artworks from nine artists who live or work in the community.  Their works are comprised of landscapes, interiors, and intimate family spaces.

The artworks explore themes both personal and universal in a wide range of media. The exhibition will include pieces by: Anna Berlin, Pam Cooper, Constance Culpepper, Alexa Garbarino, Joyce Korotkin, Susie McKeown, Cat Morris, Steven Rushefsky, and Brian Stymest.

“It’s truly an honor to showcase the works of such talented people in our gallery-esque office space and to be partnering with our sponsors William H. Connolly & Co., LLC Insurance and Risk Management, Amanti Vino Wine Shop, and Raymond’s Restaurant,” says Denise Riordan, Montclair Regional Office Manager.

Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty invites the public to attend the opening reception on Thursday, February 2nd 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at 32 Valley Road in Montclair. Light fare and refreshments will be provided by event sponsors Amanti Vino Wine Shop and Raymond’s Restaurant along with music by Ted Whitmore and Mark Bowers of The Big Roy Band.

The art will remain on display until March 31st, 2017. The public is welcome to visit the office and view the art during Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty’s hours of operation of 9:00am-5:00pm. A price list of the artists’ work will be available.

Grocery store gift-cards Donated to Bergen Community College’s food pantry

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A village realtor has donated $500 in grocery store gift cards for the Center for Food Action’s pantry at Bergen Community College recently.

Sale Associates from Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty’s Ridgewood office donated the money to purchase the gift cards.

The pantry at BCC opened in 2014 to help students, faculty and staff who struggle with hunger.

The college has fought hunger in the community in other ways. President B. Kaye Walter signed the President’s Commitment to Food and Nutrition Security pledge last year.
